Discharge
The goal of the Children’s Station is to permit the individual to develop their skills, talents and appreciation to arts, music and enjoyment of gardening while having fun so that they may not progress to a less restricted individual. The following criteria will be used by the inter-disciplinary team to determine the reason to exit the program.

The child develops a medical condition for which the facility is unable to provide appropriate medical supervision and/ or treatment.

The child’s parent or guardian request termination from program.

The child’s behavior possess a serious danger to himself or others and necessitates placement into a more behavioral setting.

The child is no longer capable of benefiting from the program provided and will be more appropriately served in an alternative program.

The client reached the age of 18 and would be beneficial to transfer to adult day care program.
The above rates are dependent on the individual nursing hours the child requires. On a case-to case basis involving special circumstances, additional charges may be required. Refer to Admission Policy for additional information.
